A few notable early observations from day 1 of DataSpace:
- Appears to be a good mix of traditional and new companies
- Interactions so far seem to stress solutions and mission driven activities
- Adaptation issues to support humanitarian aspects of space similar to commercial sector
- I see/hear the word ‘alpha’ a lot. We will see if that is good or bad
- my informal estimate: <10% female
- Good venue (Technology & Innovation Centre, Univ. of Strathclyde)
