The End of Wasted Water: Wharton IGEL/K@W report

Following the February conference (The Resource Revolution of Water Reuse) in San Francisco, the Wharton Initiative for Global Environmental Leadership (IGEL) and Knowledge@Wharton released a summary report with Suez, titled The End of Wasted Water: A Revolution in Reuse is Underway. This publication highlights a few of the major themes which were discussed at the conference; it then picks up where the event left off by addressing the magnitude of global water problems, and discusses potential measures needed to address this serious issue. There is no hype surrounding the gravity of global water scarcity issues, and the problem is both qualitative and quantitative. There are real physical, financial and societal risks, with effects that cut across population health, economic security, and regional conflict.
